AwakenedPersonalized Bodywork
A session shaped around your goals—from quiet relaxation to focused therapeutic work.
What it is
Massage therapy uses skilled touch, pressure and movement to work with muscles and surrounding soft tissues. Your therapist can adjust the pace, pressure and techniques throughout the session based on your comfort, health history and goals.
At Awakened, a general massage may blend Swedish massage, deeper focused work, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, cupping or recovery-focused bodywork. It does not have to fit into one rigid style.

Pressure can range from light to firm. Draping is used for privacy, and only the area being worked is uncovered. You can request changes at any time.
You may feel relaxed or temporarily tender after focused work. Gentle movement, normal hydration and noticing how your body responds can be helpful.
Massage can help ease everyday muscle tension, encourage full-body relaxation, support comfortable movement and give an overworked nervous system time to settle. Focused techniques can also complement an active lifestyle by helping tired muscles feel less restricted and more at ease.
Tell your therapist about recent surgery, injury, fever, infection, blood clots, bleeding disorders, skin conditions, pregnancy, cancer treatment or new unexplained symptoms. Medical clearance may be appropriate before massage in some situations.
